Robert Hicks spent thirty two years as a military chaplain and colonel in the United States Air Force. He has also published over eleven books, and served as an instructor at several undergraduate and graduate institutions. He currently serves as an adjunct professor of history at Belhaven University and resides in Maitland, Florida.
