NEW YORK—September 18, 2018—Morgan James’s new release, Battles of the Sexes: Raising Sexual IQ to Lower Sexual Conflict and Empower Lasting Love by Dr. Joe Malone and Sarah Achelpohl Harris MS RDN, takes a new, more modern approach to the ages-old “battle of the sexes”, examining the cultural shifts that have taken place and their effects on the male-female dynamic.

Now more than ever, people have embraced sexual liberation. However, during this changing culture and shifting sexual desires and identities, it seems impossible for men and women to find long-lasting committed relationships. In Battles of the Sexes, leading young adult health experts Joe Malone PhD and Sarah Harris, MS, RDN seek to reduce sexual conflict by explaining how the visual and chemical laws of attraction intersect with our rapidly evolving culture. Additionally, they demonstrate the importance and role of female choice certainty in the history of human sexuality and explore the mating related reasons behind young men’s sometimes reckless and aggressive behavior.

Using cutting-edge science, Battles of the Sexes addresses numerous factors that affect human sexuality, such as inherent nature, women’s menstrual cycles, relationship with food, and more. By evaluating all the different elements that determine and make up a person’s sexuality, Malone and Harris provide readers with a better understanding of what motivates men and women respectively in relationships. With its simple yet thorough exploration of human sexuality and modern culture, Battles of the Sexes paves the way for men and women to have increased sexual intelligence, greater sexual empathy, and improved communication. This ultimately leads readers to establish more successful romantic relationships.
