NEW YORK—October 9, 2018—Morgan James Faith’s new release, One Step at a Time: Our Missionary Pilgrimage by Elmer and Eileen Lehman, is the memoir of two Mennonite missionaries. The Lehmans share their experience serving as missionaries abroad and in the States for decades and demonstrate God’s faithfulness as they followed His calling.

The Lehman’s began their journey into missionary work as God lead them from a rural farm in New York to go work in a children’s home in Puerto Rico. From there, they were called back to the states to study in Virginia and then to twenty-two years of serving the Lord in Costa Rica. After another stay in Virginia, Elmer and Eileen ultimately settled down in to retire in Ohio. In One Step at a Time, they reflect on the lessons they learned through their decades of ministry, teaching, missions administration, and church planting.

Through the Lehman’s story, readers learn that God often has a plan for His followers that seems too big but that nothing is too big or too much for Him. Elmer and Eileen continue to learn to practice flexibility and persistence in their pursuit of God’s calling. God continues to bless and use them by helping them show believers both young and old that the best place to be is within His will. Within the pages of One Step at a Time, readers are inspired with a renewed passion and dedication for service.

One Step at a Time concludes with the Lehman’s summary of eight key principles of faith they have learned from their sixty years of marriage and ministry. They encourage readers to positively influence those around them, wait on God’s timing, and depend on His strength as they navigate life’s unusual and often mysterious circumstances. A remarkable testimony of God’s provision and perfect planning, One Step at a Time is an engaging memoir that uplifts and challenges believers.
