NEW YORK—October 30, 2018—Morgan James’s new release, The Copper Scroll Project: An Ancient Secret Fuels the Battle for the Temple Mount by Shelley Neese, provides readers with a behind the scenes look at a decade-long quest to uncover the lost treasures of the Jerusalem temple.

The Dead Sea Scrolls hold just as many questions as they do answers, and they continue to be studied and explored vigorously. One in particular, The Copper Scroll, could possibly hold the answers to a centuries long mystery, and be the key to discovering one of Israel’s greatest hidden treasures. Determined to reveal its secrets to the world, Jim Barfield, an arson investigator from Oklahoma, set out on a ten year long mission to uncover all that the Copper Scroll contained. His quest is documented with insider detail in The Copper Scroll Project.

Barfield was uneducated and inexperienced when he set out on his journey. His novice viewpoint and passion for the truth allows The Copper Scroll Project to tell a story so authentic and unorthodox that it naturally integrates into a much larger Jewish narrative. Not only does Shelley Neese tell of the discoveries Barfield made during his search for the Scroll’s treasure, but she exposes the dark ulterior motives of those who try to stop archaeological progress for fear of igniting political disputes and land claims.

As it details the covert operation to rescue Temple tithes and vessels, this groundbreaking exposé keeps the millions of treasure hunting fans on the edge of their seats. Only one brave man dares to continue searching for one of the world’s greatest archeological prizes. The Copper Scroll Project lets readers go along with Barfield on the journey.
