NEW YORK—March 6, 2018—Morgan James’s new release, Deep Creativity: Inside the Creative Mystery by Victor Shamas, is a researched-based, in-depth look at the creative process. Drawing from decades of experience studying and teaching psychology, Shamas offers a new perspective on several creative fundamentals, and challenges readers to live outside the box.

Creativity is something that nearly everyone would like to have more of; however, it’s such a vague, even mystical concept that people often think they’re either blessed with creativity or they’re not, and there’s nothing they can do about it. Victor Shamas is a research psychologist who has spent more than 30 years examining human creativity in himself and others. Through his study he has developed practical, factual answers to basic questions regarding the function and origin of creativity. What is creativity? Where does it come from? How does it work? Shamas answers these questions and explains how to tap into the fullest creative potential in Deep Creativity: Inside the Creative Mystery.

Victor Shamas outlines Ten Tenets that challenge common misconceptions about creativity and offer fresh, new perspectives on commonly discussed subjects such as the scientific method, fractals, Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, intuition, wisdom, and more. Shamas also references a wide variety of legendary creative icons, such as the Beatles, Einstein, Bruce Lee, classical composers, the Romantic poets, and even Lady Gaga. With Shamas’ well-rounded, innovative perspectives, Deep Creativity: Inside the Creative Mystery inspires readers with the message that they have limitless, untapped creative potential, and guides them on a bold, exciting journey to discover and embrace that potential.
