NEW YORK—May 10, 2016—Morgan James’s new faith release, One God Two Voices: Life-Changing Lessons from the Classroom on the Issues Challenging Today’s Families by Deidre Hester and Sue Whited, teaches how two people from different backgrounds can learn from, and grow to respect, each other.

9781630477103Many issues present challenges for families and students in today’s world and have for centuries. Becaus
e of their differences in spiritual, cultural, and racial backgrounds, the authors have a unique opportunity to bring these issues to light and discuss how differences can be overcome.

On the surface, Hester and Whited seem as though they could not be more different. Their faith and love of teaching, however, brought them together and allowed them to enact change in their school. The authors share real-life experiences of teaching in a classroom, accentuating the importance of a teacher-driven learning environment. Additionally, they challenge parents to become more active in helping their children become faith-driven adults who live Godly lifestyles.

From the O.J. Simpson trial to the Trayvon Martin situation of today’s era, the authors discuss the racial divide that continues to affect the world. Through faith and striving to understand one another, they show how these differences can strengthen relationships. They urge readers to take note of racial issues and cases of discrimination in order to prevent history from repeating itself.

Everyone from all walks of life will find something to identify with in this book. Whether it’s learning how to keep one’s integrity and sense of humor in the classroom or discovering how to find the person they want to be, this remarkable story will change the way readers think about life, love, and learning.
