NEW YORK—January 9, 2018—Morgan James’s new release, What it Takes… From $20 to $200 Million: Jerry Azarkman’s Memoir by Jerry Azarkman and Ruth Garcia-Corrales, is the inspiring story of a young immigrant who started a successful business from nothing. It offers readers seven proven steps to financial success, from someone who paved the way for himself.

Jerry Azarkman came to America as a young adult with nothing. He had no one he knew in the states, no job, and only $20 to his name. But with determination and perseverance, he built a future for himself. Jerry took his $20 and bought merchandise to sell door-to-door in downtown Los Angeles, and after working hard and establishing himself, he eventually went on to start his own department store company, Curacao, which currently has 11 locations, over 2,000 employees, and over $350 million in revenue. His story is proof that one can find success no matter the odds stacked against them.

What it Takes… From $20 to $200 Million: Jerry Azarkman’s Memoir tells the details of Jerry’s journey, and how he took himself from a homeless, non-English speaking immigrant to a thriving businessman. In it, he shares his personal and business philosophies, and the seven distinct steps that made him a millionaire. Azarkman also shares his four D’s for success and how to apply them to any life. With a specific outline for getting started as well as methods for continually growing a prosperous business, What it Takes… is an inspiring yet practical read for novice entrepreneurs and experienced business owners alike.
