NEW YORK—October 2, 2018—Morgan James Faith’s new release, Keeping Blessing Hill: The Story of a Couple Who Converted a Barn, Created a Garden, and Celebrated Home by Joyce Sackett, tells the story of how Sackett and her husband, John, created their own personal oasis out of a rundown barn while honoring Christ with every step of the process.

Following God’s commands is never easy, though it is always a blessing. Years ago, Joyce Sackett and her husband made a commitment to follow God’s will for their lives and marriage, whatever that may be. Upon their commitment, God put one word in their hearts: keeping. The Sacketts found that their faith journey would lead them to keeping a home, keeping a garden, keeping a strong marriage, and more. Keeping Blessing Hill shares the journey of how these two people kept the things God gave them, and how He in return kept His promises of blessing.

Through sharing their journey of restoration and remodeling, Joyce Sackett offers readers encouragement for their own faith journey. With her stories of raising animals, growing vegetables, entertaining guests and more, she offers a refreshing perspective of God, nature, and relationships. Woven through with Sackett’s candidness, sweet spirit, and humor, Keeping Blessing Hill helps readers meditate on joy and Jesus and the simple blessings in their own lives.

In addition to her personal stories and encouraging thoughts, Joyce also fills Keeping Blessing Hill with practical household tips, gardening advice, and delicious recipes to help readers keep their own home. And in telling of her and her husband’s adventures together, she provides readers with truths and wisdom for a long and joyous marriage based on her forty years of marriage. All of Sacketts tips, insights, and anecdotes combine to make Keeping Blessing Hill a charming, engaging, and encouraging read.
