NEW YORK— April 7, 2020—Morgan James’ new release, I Love My Job But It’s Killing Me: The Teacher’s Guide to Conquering Chronic Stress and Sickness by Lesley Moffat, is a resource for teachers who are overworked and burned out physically and mentally. I Love My Job But It’s Killing Me was written to help educators combat the toll that their stressful career has on their bodies and lives.

Teaching is a physically and emotionally taxing career. In addition to catching every cold and cough that students bring through the door, teachers have to deal with the physical toll and mental exhaustion that comes from the immense stress of their jobs. As a high school band director, Lesley Moffat is no stranger to these ailments. In I Love My Job But It’s Killing Me, Moffat uses her own experience in education to provide teachers with proven methods for tackling illnesses, body aches, insomnia, brain fog, and more.

I Love My Job But It’s Killing Me guides teachers to set healthy standards and boundaries for their career and personal life. Offering self-reflection exercises, Lesley Moffat identifies areas of a teacher’s life that need adjustment and provides practical steps for doing so. Following Moffat’s advice, teachers can establish long term healthy habits and work-life balance that will keep them happy and well enough to continue teaching for years to come.
