NEW YORK—November 5, 2019—Morgan James Faith’s release, Moments of the Heart: Four Relationships Everyone Should Have to Live Wholeheartedly by Dorice Horenstein, is the 2020 Gold winner of the Nonfiction Book Awards. Moments of the Heart explores Jewish thoughts and principles that can inspire readers to live their most joyful, fulfilled life. In exploring each of the four essential relationships, Moments of the Heart leads readers on a journey of self-discovery and self-betterment.

Modeled after the four chambers of the heart, Horenstein’s Moments of the Heart explores the four relationships that affect how we live — relationship with self, with others, with the Creator, and with significant life events. Each chapter focuses on one of the four relationships, delving into how those relationships shape our decisions, thoughts, actions, and overall quality of life. Concluding each chapter with a “Lev Moment” — an opportunity for questioning and self-reflection — Horenstein provides a roadmap to better living that is equal parts spiritual, inspiring, and practical.

A native Israeli and renowned Hebrew educator, Dorice Horenstein utilizes thoughts and principles steeped in Jewish tradition and wisdom as the backbone of Moments of the Heart but does so in a way that is welcoming to readers from all walks of faith and life. Jews and non-Jews alike will be stirred to action as Moments of the Heart: Four Relationships Everyone Should Have to Live Wholeheartedly calls for a deep introspection into the relationships affecting their heart, mind, and soul.
